Baby, toddler, caregiver neighbourhoods

Idea for Action Summary
Creating dedicated areas that facilitate the integration of tailored interventions for babies, toddlers and the people who care for them can multiply the impact of those interventions exponentially.
The chosen area should be in a neighbourhood populated by (or accessible to) a large number of vulnerable families with young children, and with well-identified challenges to address, such as lack of safe public spaces for families, poor road safety or limited access to healthcare or childcare. Community engagement, associated with a robust data monitoring of key early childhood indicators, greatly helps with prioritising, designing and implementing interventions, and allows their impact to be to evaluated and communicated.
